What is an extension spring?
Anyone who has ever seen a trampoline up close knows what an extension spring is. Time and again, those springs are subjected to load on their pulling power. The spring stretches until the load is removed and the spring shrinks back to its starting position. extension springs have attachment 'eyes'. What are applications for extension springs?
Besides trampolines, you find extension springs used in many other types of fitness equipment, as well as in door closers and tensioners for architectural canvas. Agricultural implements, garage doors, ovens and many machines have extension springs too.
How do we make your extension springs?
We use 0.15 mm to 14 mm spring steel quality wire to make extension springs, using, 1.1200, SH - EN 10270-1 (bright spring steel) and 1.4310 (stainless steel spring steel). And we can use other materials too. In addition to those regular materials, we work a lot with the following:

- Inox 316 - 1.4401
- Inox 631 - 1.4568
- SH - EN 10270-1
We calculate the load for static or dynamic applications. Our tolerances for extension springs comply with DIN 2095. To check performance, we carry out load tests and a statistical process control (SPC). You can obtain a material analysis certificate on request.
